Roman is the Coordinator of the Catechetical Ministries of the Catholic Diocese of Fresno under the Office of Formation and Evangelization.
The Catechetical Coordinator is responsible for connecting and maintaining communications with the parish directors and coordinators of religious education and being a resource for them. Along with developing, implementing and updating catechetical ministry policies of the Diocese of Fresno, in his role, Roman also provides formation, talks, retreats and workshops to parishes and Vicariates along with providing assistance, guidance and support to parish catechetical programs and parish DREs/CREs and in other areas of ministry that might involve catechetics in some shape or form. He also oversees the Catechist Certification program, which includes training facilitators, maintaining a list of courses throughout the diocese, managing the lists of participants, and processing all certification paperwork. Roman has a little over 13 years of experience of working with children, youth, and adults through catechetical and sacramental preparation ministries.
