Aaron Del Monte serves as an educational consultant for William H. Sadlier, Inc. He has spent his entire adult life dedicated to teaching and ministering to young people. He and his wife, Sherry, spent 10 years as the Coordinators of Youth Ministry at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Elk Grove, California. Aaron spent 35 years as a volunteer, staff member,and eventually Vice President of Development at Cornerstone Media, Inc., a non-profit youth ministry resource using popular music as a powerful communication tool. He is the author of the book Prayers and Reflections for Newlyweds.Aaron's life has been shaped positively by his own Church experience as a teen, both in Catholic schools and his parish's youth program. He has spent his adult years "paying it forward", not only ministering to youth, but also helping adults to minister more effectively. In his work with Sadlier, Aaron constantly hears stories of teachers and catechists struggling not only to reach young people, but also to enjoy the journey themselves. He is here to help!Aaron has presented to teachers and catechists at workshops in numerous dioceses. Aaron's presentations are fun and interactive, and he always includes simple, practical ideas that participants can apply right away. Aaron understands that ministering to junior high and high school youth can be very challenging, and he strives to provide his workshop participants with plenty of encouragement, as well as practical ways to minister more effectively.
